Community Activities

Choir: I sing tenor in the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County choir. We perform in regularly scheduled services at the UUFWC as well as in services for churches in the surrounding area.

 

Coffee House: I perform twice a year in the choirs biannual coffee house, coordinating with other performers as necessary to develop entertaining segments.

 

 

Volunteer Experience

Religious Exploration: I taught religious Exploration at the UUFWC for two years. I worked with a group adults and a coordinator to set the schedule for instruction, then we designed and presented lessons for a group of 5-10 students aged 7-10 years old.

 

UUFWC Board of Directors: I was a member of the UUFWC board of directors from 2002-2003. Our responsibilities included attending a number of regularly scheduled meetings, setting the annual budget for the Fellowship, and acting as liaisons between different committees and the board. Additionally, I was involved in the building project directed at creating a new Fellowship hall to accommodate our growing congregation.
